AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION RESEARCH INSTITUTE (ATARI)

ICAR has established a vast network of KVKs all over the country under the administrative control of various ICAR institutes, State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), State Department of Agriculture, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). To plan, monitor, evaluate, guide and monitor the programmes of the KVK and judge the performance of KVKs time to time. ICAR established Zonal Coordinating Unit, these were upgraded as Zonal Project Directorate. These Zonal Project Directorate further renamed as Agricultural Technology Application Research Institute (ATARI). Presently 11 ATARI working different zones are as under:
